Course Overview This migration course trains Microsoft and VMware partners to consolidate the physical or virtual VMware infrastructure into a flexible, dynamic and low cost Microsoft Dynamic Datacenter, which consist of Microsoft Windows 2008 Hyper V and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008 Server. With TCO/ROI calculation and design concepts participants are able to demonstrate to Microsoft customers and partners the real savings with Microsoft Dymanic Datacenter solutions. They will learn how to transfer, migrate, and convert the existing physical or existing VMware environment. At the end of the course the attendees will have deep knowledge about Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Hyper V and System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008. With Microsoft System Center Operations Manager PRO they will be able to monitor the Microsoft virtualization and manage VMware VI3 products with SCVMM 2008. They will have the ability to set up System Center Data Protection Manager for backup and recovery and update the virtual machines, Hyper V, and SCVMM 2008 Server. Best practices examples will provide knowledge on how to successfully tune and troubleshoot performance in virtual machines. This course has been classified as IT Technical Training.
