Course Overview

This course provides operational managers with the ability to understand the principles behind and the tools used in the Lean Six Sigma approach. It is intended for managers who simply want to understand the core tools and techniques so that they are able to support, scope and sponsor improvement projects rather than run them. It is not intended as a practitioner course and provides only limited practical exercises, which are targeted at scoping business scoping improvement projects.

Audience

All managers who are responsible for business improvement activity or the management of Green and Black belt resources. Managers who require more practical knowledge of Six Sigma should consider the Practitioner Green Belt [LSS103].
