Course Overview This hands-on course teaches you how to design, set up, and administer a selective replication environment. You will learn the fundamentals of distributed application data design and the functions of Replication Server. You will also learn to create replication definitions, subscriptions, and publications, and understand materialization options, function strings, datatype transformation, error handling and routes. In addition, you will receive an introduction to using Replication Server with the Sybase Enterprise Event Broker, heterogeneous replication, and warm standby. This course does not cover warm standby in depth. Prerequisites Completion of Fast Track to Adaptive Server Enterprise and System and Database Administration for Adaptive Server Enterprise or equivalent experience.
