Course Overview

This course leads to the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) Practitioner Certificate in Test Management and follows the ISEB syllabus. The certificate is awarded by ISEB to those who achieve an examination mark of 60% or above in a two hour written examination. A distinction is awarded to those gaining 80% or above.

Having been awarded the Intermediate Certificate candidates become eligible to enter examinations leading to the ISEB Practitioner Certificates in Test Analysis and/or Test Management.

Audience

This examination is suitable for those who are or aim to be actively involved in the management of any aspect of software testing.

Skills Gained

Course objectives:

This certificate is the next level of competency in software testing after the ISEB Intermediate level.

A pass in this certificate provides evidence that the candidate has gained a high level of competency in topics specific to the management of software testing, having proven ability to analyse, synthesise and evaluate.

Candidates must hold the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing and the ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing.
