Course Overview

This Instructor led course explains in detail the Cisco PGW2200 in call control mode solution, the course explains the different flavours and solutions of the Cisco PGW2200 Call Control Mode.

The first 5 days of the course focuses on the configuration of all aspects in a Call Control Mode.

The second 5 days focuses on troubleshooting of the Cisco PGW2200, including generic Dial Plan design, H.323 network and SIP network which makes the course complete.

Delegates can attend the first week only or both weeks, if you have attended a PGWC or equivalent you can attend the second week only.

Delegates should have a good understanding of the technologies stated in the prerequisites. The delegates will spend their time in theory/lab sessions learning various Cisco and generic commands and tools e.g. show and debug on IOS devices, PGW VSPT/MML and Solaris CLI commands, Call Tracing on the PGW, Flow Analysis with Wireshark-, Cisco Snooper-, MDL-, Solaris Snoop protocol analyser and retrieving logs and alarms in order to troubleshoot.

The course will concentrate on the following call elements: PGW, AS5350 Universal Gateway with Integrated SLT, IOS Voice Gateway, HSI and Cisco Gatekeeper.

This course provides the knowledge and skills required to design, implement and troubleshoot Cisco PGW2200 in a call control mode solution.
