Course Overview

This Advanced Value Management training course is the second of two three day modules accredited by the Institute of Value Management and intended for those who wish to develop their management skills and become advanced practitioners in Value Management.

VM, incorporating Value Engineering, is part of the APM's Body of Knowledge and a core tool for Project Managers of all disciplines.

The emphasis is on the development of a holistic appreciation of the business environment within which Value Management is applied, and the implementation of VM at the strategic level.

Skills Gained

By the end of the course, delegates will:

• Lead a complete Value Management project;
• Establish Value Management processes in an organisation;
• Promote the development of a Value culture within an organisation
• Apply (subject to further practical experience) for the EC qualification Professional in Value Management, (PVM)

Prerequisites

Participants must show evidence of satisfactory attendance at a VM Advanced 1 Course. The Advanced Course is limited to 12 participants.
