Course Overview Reporting Services is a new product that is packaged with SQL Server 2000, although it works with all popular databases. It provides a simple drag and drop design interface for a wide range of reports that can be viewed as web pages Excel sheets or Acrobat documents. It includes a sophisticated web based Report Manager allowing a complete range of security, scheduling and report preparation options. This two-day course provides students with the knowledge and skills to author, deploy, and manage reports using Microsoft Reporting Services. Students should leave the course with a good understanding of how to apply reporting services to problems within a business context. The course is a practical guide to designing and deploying reports in the Reporting Services product. It is an overview of the features of the product and enables the delegate to gain the skills to create professional reports and to setup the Management of reports, controlling authority to view and to allow reports to automatically display information appropriate to the user.
