Course Overview

This DBA course is intended for those who are responsible for managing, maintaining and supporting Oracle version 9i.

Extensive exercises start on day one where delegates use the command line to create an Oracle 9i database. This database is then used throughout the week. Delegates will load and monitor database performance using sample data. Examples are used to show the effects of system loading and user interaction.

Prerequisites

We suggest completion of our SQL*Plus Fundamentals course (or equivalent experience). PL/SQL knowledge is also an advantage.
