Course Overview Understand the broad concepts of wireless networking and wireless security. Describe current IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN security standards and inherent weaknesses, and overview the types of attacks that can be mounted to gain access through a WLAN network or view information on it. Explain how WLAN security can be enhanced using currently available alternative security protocols and techniques. Explain how authentication and accounting services can be provided using RADIUS and Cisco ACS. Audience Engineers, Project Managers, Support Staff or Network Managers who have or who are considering implementing Wireless LANs and need an understanding of how they can be made secure from eavesdropping and other attacks. The course is also highly recommended for technical LAN/WAN designers and support staff who have no previous exposure to Wireless Security.
