Course Overview

This is a 2 day conversion course taking delegates who have already completed the Foundation certificate through to full Practitioner certification. The course includes exam fees.

It is also an essential element in managing the risks inherent in change and innovation. PRINCE2 is a comprehensive, structured project management method used extensively by the UK government. It is also widely recognised and used by the private sector, both in the UK and internationally. The method can be applied to all kinds of project including information systems projects.

The aim of the course is to take project managers and project team members who hold the foundation certificate in PRINCE2 and now require to upgrade this qualification by becoming a licenced PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Audience

Project managers and project team members who hold the foundation certificate in PRINCE2 and now require to upgrade this qualification by becoming a licenced PRINCE2 Practitioner.

This course is also suitable for Practitioners certified prior to October 2000 who are required to take the re-registration examination in order to demonstrate their commitment to professional development. This is particularly important following the recent upgrading of the PRINCE2 Manual and its greater focus on Business Case Management of Risk, Auality Assurance and Project Assurance.

Skills Gained

Prepare and take the PRINCE2 Practitioner Examination administered by the Association of Project Managers Group (APMG).

Prerequisites

A Foundation examination pass, preferably gained in the previous six months through classroom-based learning.
