Course Overview The Certified SonicWALL Global Management System (CSGM) Instructor-led Training covers the installation, configuration, verification and troubleshooting of the SonicWALL Global Management System product. The course details the distinguishing features and components of the SonicWALL Global Management System Standard Edition and the Entry Edition. The ViewPoint reporting tool is used to extract information regarding the sample network, and to produce reports specific to your requirements. - This technical session also covers the deployment of the GMS architecture. The pre-configuration requirements, installation sequence, procedures, and configuration of the SonicWALL Global Management System will be reinforced with lecture and hands-on lab experience. Attendees will become familiar with the User Interface that provides the ability to: change administrative settings

- and manage SonicWALL appliances. All training materials will be provided. Hands-on lab exercises reinforce the presentation material.

Prerequisites Attendees must have achieved CSSA certification prior to attendance Attendees must have a basic knowledge of networking concepts including network topologies and an understanding of the OSI model of networking protocol stacks. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Networking is helpful. Attendees should have an understanding of TCP/IP, network addressing, and subnet masks, as well as knowledge of basic router concepts. Familiarity with Virtual Private Networking and IPSec functionality is a plus!
