Course Overview

Environmental legislation is complex and constantly changing. National and European laws are affecting the way business operates. Traditional regulations designed to control 'end-of-pipe' pollution are being strengthened through IPPC and other legislation. There are new fiscal measures being introduced to make the polluter pay and encourage others to conserve natural resources. Their impact on your business could be far-reaching and have direct consequences on bottom line profitability. This course is designed to help you minimise that impact.

Your environmental management systems must enable your organisation to adopt a more strategic approach to both legislative requirements and environmental performance.

If these systems are to be sufficiently robust, they must be continuously modified in the light of changing requirements, with rigorous document controls enabling a clear audit trail.

This seminar gives you the opportunity to review current and proposed legislation, and the regulations that apply to your industry, and plan a strategy that will allow you to avoid potentially expensive mistakes.
