Course Overview Analysts have long had a problem producing meaningful documentation of user requirements. Use cases help to overcome this problem and are now becoming the accepted way of recording requirements. They describe how the user will interact with the proposed system. Use cases are readily understood by the users who can check that they are complete, consistent and meet their real needs. Furthermore, the use case provides a direct input into prototyping and test planning which further increase the users confidence in the proposed system. Audience This course is intended for all project workers who are involved in the definition of requirements, including users and both business and systems analysts. Designers will benefit from understanding how use cases are developed and how they fit into the overall development cycle. Skills Gained This course will enable delegates to: - Identify uses cases and scoping the proposed system in the form of a use case diagram.
- Develop the detailed definition of the use case in stages.
- Structure the use cases.
- Understand how use cases and scenarios support prototyping and test planning.
