Course Overview This course is designed for those from any sector who are relatively new to governance issues. Although the course assumes no prior knowledge, it sets out to ensure that those who complete the course will be confident to discuss corporate governance matters with their colleagues and clients, based on a sound grounding both infundamental principles and in some of the key contemporary practices. Audience More junior staff with responsibilities impinging upon corporate governance. Higher level staff becoming involved in corporate governance or needing an awareness of the issues. The course is intended for recent appointees to corporate governance teams or company secretariats, internal and external auditors, accountants and others who serve those charged with governance. The course will also be a useful part of the induction of inexperienced, newly appointed directors -whether executive or non-executive.
