Course Overview This course will provide experience in installing, planning, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise Wireless LANs using the Alcatel OmniAccess Wireless Solution. It will also provide in-depth coverage of issues unique to Wireless LANs, including Radio Frequency (RF) as well as security concerns The course will cover topics relating to security concerns when implementing a WLAN. The topics include authentication and encryption using 802.1x, WEP, WPA, TKIP, VPNs, Firewalls, DoS, and Rogue AP detection. The security portion will also cover the security concerns related to RF, such as coverage areas and leakage outside of a building, as well as how to prevent unauthorized use of your enterprise WLAN.
